Still Life

2018

Painting with red wine, eye shadow and lip gloss. Dass incorporates the idea of the female form with the still life. Emphasizing that the body, having being reproduced many times, consequently comes with the visual consumption of it. As well as the not so still life wine has on paper. With it constantly changing colour as weeks go by.

The first time you see a women naked will not be like you imagined. There will be no butterflies. The first time you will see her naked will be in front of a screen .You will watch this woman who is not a woman pixelated, filtered and customized. The pink blanketing of the woman censors how she is seen in every image. The inconsistences remove any demand of how she should look, how you wish to see her.
